Hong Kong Wind Symphony (HKWS) is a non-profit making organization founded by a group of local enthusiastic wind musicians in May 2012. The mission of HKWS is to deliver high quality of concert band music, to promote its unique culture and to enhance the appreciation of wind music to the general public. Repertoire is carefully selected and varies from transcriptions of orchestral classical music, original compositions for wind medium and contemporary works.
The majority members of HKWS are professional musicians who meet on a weekly basis. HKWS emphaises on Ensembleship in order to achieve performance of artistic merit for the benefit of band members and audiences.
香港都會管樂團 為一註冊非牟利團體，於2012年5月由一班熱愛管樂音樂人士成立。樂團的宗旨是拓展高質素的管樂合奏演奏、致力推廣古典及優秀的管樂作品、藉著舉辦不同類型之音樂活動及演奏會，將管樂合奏音樂帶給普羅大眾，令更多香港市民認識及欣賞其文為香港音樂事業作出貢獻。
