爵士詩人謝明諺與2014金曲獎《演奏類最佳專輯獎》和《最佳作曲人》雙料得主曾增譯，還有比利時籍並旅居台灣多年的低音提琴手Martijn，以及長住日本沖繩的荷蘭鼓手Sebastiaan. 他們有著共同的歐系學習成長背景,也共同有著在亞洲生活的豐厚淵源. 彼此激盪出一段又一段精彩的音樂互動對話.
四位爵士演奏家也曾於2014年出版專輯《杉林小徑》Firry Path收錄了謝明諺在2008~2013年間的九首創作，專輯曾獲第五屆金音創作獎及第26屆金曲獎 最佳演奏錄音專輯提名，也是誠品音樂年度爵士類專輯銷售冠軍，並獲多位資深樂評人選為年度佳作，受台灣樂界廣大迴響。
本次音樂會也會以專輯樂曲為主打，謝明諺的作品是傳統中透露出了隨興不羈，有別於傳統薩克斯管樂手那種霸氣外漏的威嚴沉穩。這些音樂的走向是以歌(Song)為主要考量,而非曲(tunes). 意思就是旋律是如歌唱般的優美自然, 而非一般現代爵士樂中複雜難懂的器樂線條. 加上洗練的和聲與動感的律動襯托,呈現出有別於一般爵士樂標準搖擺曲風,帶有歐式優雅又充滿律動的清新風格.
Music Plus首次邀請四位爵士樂才子集合在香港，為香港樂迷帶來非常不一樣的薩克斯管爵士音樂感受，並特別加插音樂會後半小時(22:00-22:30)歡迎本地樂手一齊上台Free Jam，在香港奶庫進行一段音樂旅途對話！

Saxophone Endorser of Forestone Japan Terry Minyen Heish, Poet of the Jazz Saxophone will going to perform in Forestone: The Jazz Journey Concert included pianist Mike, who has long collaborated with Terry since their days of studying in Belgium, bassist Martijn, who grew up in Belgium but has lived in Taiwan for many years, and drummer Sebastiaan from the Netherlands who currently resides in Okinawa, Japan. Their shared experiences of having studied in Europe and living in Asia contribute to the multiple layers of interesting musical dialogues that can be heard in the concert. Those four musicians has record an album lt;Firry Path> in 2014, all written by Terry between the years 2008-2013, the album has nominee of Best Musician Award in Golden Indie Music Awards 2014 and nominee of Best Best Instrumental Recording Album in Golden Melody Awards 2015, also the album has ranked “the best seller jazz record of the year”of Eslite Music Store which is highly acclaimed by the critics and media.
Forestone: The Jazz Journey Concert has mainly perform the songs of Minyen Heish Quartet will present lyrical melodies that are beautiful and natural rather than angular, complex phrases often heard in many contemporary jazz compositions. Blending colorful, distilled harmonies with dynamic, innovative rhythms, the pieces depart from straight-ahead jazz and are interpreted in an inventive style tinged with European sensibilities. Music Plus has first invited those 4 musician together in Hong Kong to present the different Jazz Saxophone music to the local music lover. We also special arrange half hour (22:00-22:30) for the free jam section and welcome the local musicians to free jam with Minyen Heish Quartet on the stage to create a special Jazz Journey story.
