Groovy Stage brings you to a special place in local music, with instrumental groups 海島小輪 and COW HEAD. In this late afternoon event, lyrics are dropped from 2 hours of pure musical expression！

「海島小輪」
「海島小輪」2016年於香港成立，自我定性為新派室樂組合。組合的誕生源自某天 Arnold （方欣浩／鋼琴）突然想放低過往獨立唱作人的身份，棄用歌詞說故事的音樂形式。跟 Arnold 素有火花，擁有多年中樂經驗的 KH （鄧璟浩／洞簫）得悉此計劃，便隨即表示有興趣參與其中。再通過友人介紹，新生的組合隨後得到 Timothy Wan（雲天慈／色士風）和 Tim Tong（湯正行／大提琴）兩位成員加入。Timothy 和 Tim 都是近年畢業的音樂本科生，分別鑽研爵士樂與西洋古典樂。

「海島小輪」演奏的既包括原創也包括經典作品，重視加入即興演奏的元素，更強調音樂上的留白。看他們的表演也許不易：難的並不在於音樂有什麼的深奧，而是在於觀眾是否願意跟他們一起，從充滿各類信息和雜音的日常中短暫但完整的抽離，進入一次獨特的聲音航行之中。

Cow Head
Cowhead 於2014初夏正式成立，以 acoustic instrument 演奏不同風格曲目之樂隊。以純音樂演奏方式給予每一位聽眾可以跳出歌詞的框框下去欣賞音樂為樂隊方向。
成立至今於多個不同單位及場地應邀作公開表演，亦會不時於街頭作出表演。務求讓更多人能夠聆聽、細味我們的音樂。

Sea Island & Ferry is "neo-chamber ensemble" from Hong Kong and has members coming from diverse musical roots. The group was formed in 2016 with supposed-singersongwriter  Arnold Fang (on Piano) and KH Tang (on Xiao), a seasoned player of Chinese traditional music. After a call for more partners, Timothy Wan (on Saxophone) and Tim Tong (on Cello) came on board.

COW HEAD formed in 2014 and they are the 2nd Runner Up of Band Legend Competition 2016. They play acoustic instrument music instead of singing inlyricsthatbring  audience  to a different music experience. The group members: Guitarist Simon, Guitarist Ryan, Violinist & Keyboardist Mag, Bassist Chris and Percussionist YC.
