簡歷及教學方針 Brief Biography & Teaching Philosopy

近10年聲樂教育經驗,美國Westminster Choir College聲樂教育法及演唱碩士(優異成績畢業)、美國聲樂教師協會(NATS)會員並曾於地區協會會員大會展出學術研究作品、網上聲樂教育專欄《合・唱歌》作者、Trinity LTCL (recital)、香港浸會大學文學士(音樂、英國語文及文學)、香港浸會大學教育文憑、教育局檢定教員。曾任教大學音樂系合唱團、音樂事務處、神學院教育中心及教會等多個短期聲樂課程,私人學生則小至小學生,大至學校音樂老師或教會指揮。

教育理念: 
如果教授是知識和技巧的傳遞,教育則是學生個人內在學習動機的啓發和支持,而我的聲樂課就是透過歌唱而實踐音樂教育。我相信各人在音樂上的天份或許未必一樣,但成功的音樂教育就是以開通我們的藝術觸角為目標,發揮各人的潛能,使我們懂得讚歎世界、欣賞自己。

Nearly 10 years of voice teaching experience; M. Mus from Westminster Choir College, USA, with distinction (Voice Pedagogy and Performance); member of US National Association of Teachers of Singing and had researched presented at its Eastern Regional Conference; author of online Voice Pedagogy column; ATCL (recital) in singing; B.A. (hons.) in Music and English Language & Literature (HKBU); Edu. Dip. (HKBU); Registered Teacher from HK Education Bureau; invited to teach courses at university choirs, the Music Office, seminaries, etc.; students are now conductors, music teachers or voice majors.

Teaching Philosophy:
If learning may occur when there is transmission of knowledge and skills, then education is truly accomplished when intrinsic motivation is triggered and sustained. My studio aims at the education of music via the study of
